Groups represent a powerful tool for controlling/organizing objects in a drawing. Xrefs are one of the best means of organizing a complex model into manageable parts. HSB provides tools to enable groups through Xrefs, but there are some pitfalls to be aware of.

There are many things set in a layout, blocks, viewports, HSB viewport settings, TSLs. Keep a library of standard layouts in a central location for easy reference and maintenance, access these layouts in new or existing drawings with just a few clicks.
